The widgets are coming!

Yesterday, Wordpress and Typepad released updates that allow placing widgets (self contained bits of functionality) into the sidebars of blogs they create.

Real world rounding

As far as I can tell, there’s no Javascript or Sliding Doors involved in rounding the right hand corners of the magazine Beautiful Decay. It’s done with pure old fashioned brute force.

Sometimes I wish web design was equally as straight forward.

Ma.gnolia has a compelling case for switching away from Del.icio.us. Their app is well thought out, with a variety of interesting features. All of which are surrounded by a beautiful design.

30 Boxes doesn’t do it for me

I’m starting to feel like the only person that doesn’t like 30 Boxes. Nik Cubrilovic recently wrote a post entitled 30 Boxes Ready To Take Out Online Calendar Space, for Techcrunch. His conclusion:
