All of our interactions include an experience. Often times those experiences are viewed as something set in stone. or that the negative aspects of an experience are the result of personal failure. In reality, bad design is often the culprit.
I enjoy picking apart those experiences and the designs that created them. As a way to improve upon them in my own work and to better understand the world around me. This blog is intended as a collection of my notes on that process.

I’ve been creating consumer oriented web sites and applications since 1994. I especially enjoy working on tools that help people express themselves online. Most recently I’ve done some consulting with The Robot Co-Op on their 43 Places product. Less recently I worked on a variety of projects at Google (such as Blogger and Pages).
I can also be found online at my personal blog: similarselection.org and via email: jason ·at· similarselection ·dot· org.
